05/17/15 1:00 PM

Good afternoon, Marianas! Here is the latest update for CUC’s Power and Water restoration efforts following Typhoon Dolphin.

As of 1pm, all feeders are providing power to customers across Saipan. Crews are working their way to the isolated pockets of outages.

All feeders on Tinian are back online as crews work to restore power to individual customers inconvenienced by the storm.

Water across Saipan has been restored; however, additional time is required for the newly energized pumps to supply water to the reservoirs to provide the pressure customers are accustomed to receiving.

CUC sent a team from Saipan to Rota to assist with power and water restoration efforts on the island hardest hit by Typhoon Dolphin.

Feeder 1 remains down; however, some customers routinely served by Feeder 1 are now receiving power from Feeder 3, which is also partially energized.

A portion of customers in Sinapalo I are receiving power from Feeder 2, but customers living in Sinapalo II & III and the Chenchon area remain without power.

Line crews have prioritized repair work in District 3 at Songsong village, Sinapalo II & III, and Chenchon area.

The water situation in Rota is far better as the vast majority of CUC customers are receiving water.
